This tour leads you to the emblematic palace of Louis the XIVth where the sun is king. Strong with its 800 years of history, this castle is a true immersion into the French History. Less visited than Versailles palace, it is nice to enjoy its rooms and its gardens. Your guide leads you room after room, from the Renaissance period to the 17th century, then from the 19th century in Napoleon the 1st’s apartments to Napoleon the 3rd’s theater.

Vaux le Vicomte castle is a 17th century jewel, built a bit before the Palace of Versailles and considered as its predetermination. This tour leads you inside this private mansion where Charles Lebrun paintings combined to Louis LeVau incredible architecture. Once outside, you discover the “first” French gardens made by André Lenôtre, and enhanced by a view to the Gilted statue of Hercules.

The Maisons castle is a 17th century private mansion. Eventhough, it isn’t a royal house it has nothing to envy from the Palace of Versailles. This tour takes you from the kitchens to the king’s apartment, built to welcome the king if needed. A marvelous suspended staircase brings you to the upper floor where the bal room is waiting for you to dance. From the first owner, René de Longueil, to Marshall Lannes in 1804 than to the banker Jacques Laffitte, this castle offers you the opportunity to enjoy a noble intimacy.
